AML Policy

UK account checks in context

This UK policy helps a member understand age, identity, payment-ownership and anti-money-laundering checks at a third-party gambling operator. lippybingo.org is not that operator: it does not open accounts, accept wagers or deposits, hold funds, process payments or withdrawals, or conduct operator KYC, age, identity, AML, sanctions or source-of-funds checks.

Use the operator’s secure support route for an account or payment question. Use [email protected] only for a question about this website, and never send an operator document or password here.

The mandatory GB gate

For GB gambling services, the operator must complete age and identity verification before gambling begins. That includes the required age gate before deposits, operator-provided free play or gambling, and identity verification before gambling. Registration or account acceptance is not permission to play.

A withdrawal must not be used to request information that could reasonably have been obtained earlier. Legitimate later AML, KYC, source-of-funds, fraud or other regulatory checks may still occur when the circumstances or law require them. The first access gate and a later risk review serve different purposes.

A member’s account journey

The operator’s form and messages control the exact sequence. In broad terms, a UK member may encounter:

Account stageWhat the operator may need
RegistrationAge, identity and account information needed before gambling access
DepositingPayment ownership and information connected with the transaction
Gambling activityOngoing risk, account-security or safer-gambling review
WithdrawalA transaction review, payment-ownership evidence or legitimate later regulatory check
Account messageA secure instruction explaining the next action or required record

The operator decides what evidence is proportionate. A later request does not automatically mean that the member has done anything wrong; it may reflect a changed transaction or a new risk signal.

Payment review in the UK account

For a UK member, payment and withdrawal checks may address whether the method is registered to the account holder or authorised for use, whether account information is consistent, where gambling funds came from and whether the transaction matches the operator’s records.

Signals that can lead to closer review include:

  • a payment method associated with another person;
  • repeated payment attempts or unexpected transactions;
  • inconsistent personal or address information;
  • unusual deposit, wagering, transfer or withdrawal activity;
  • a change in account behaviour; or
  • information that does not match the operator’s records.

If an operator asks about source of funds, it means the origin of the money used for gambling. Source of wealth means how you acquired wider financial resources. An operator may request either where its risk assessment indicates that more explanation is needed.

Extra screening and account action

Operators may screen customers and transactions against sanctions information, adverse information, restricted-jurisdiction data or fraud indicators. They may ask whether a person is a politically exposed person, or PEP, or closely connected to one. PEP status alone is not proof of wrongdoing, but it can bring additional questions or monitoring.

The operator may use automated tools, manual review or both throughout the account relationship. If it considers activity unusual or suspicious, it may request further information, pause or restrict the account, refuse a transaction, delay or refuse a withdrawal, close the account or make a report required by its obligations. It may not explain every part of its decision.

What to do with a request

A UK member who receives a secure request can keep the response orderly:

  1. Open the operator message and identify the account or transaction named.
  2. Read which document or explanation is requested and why it relates to that matter.
  3. Provide accurate information only through the operator’s secure account or official support channel.
  4. Keep the request, response and transaction reference together.
  5. Ask the operator what remains outstanding if the next account status is unclear.

Do not send identity documents, bank statements, payment information, passwords or recovery codes to lippybingo.org. The information site cannot verify an operator document, change a member account, trace a gambling balance or act as the operator’s KYC department.

Keeping records private

The operator and its service providers decide what account, verification, payment, communication and risk-review records they retain and how long they keep them. Read the operator’s privacy information before uploading personal or financial material.

If your account record is wrong, explain the discrepancy honestly to the operator. Do not alter a document, use another person’s method, open a duplicate account or move funds through somebody else’s account to bypass a later regulatory assessment. False, incomplete or misleading information may result in an account restriction, a cancelled transaction or a delayed or refused withdrawal.

Support and this website

For an operator login, payment, identity, source-of-funds, sanctions, withdrawal or account-restriction issue, use the operator’s official support route at lippybingo.com. Include the relevant account message but keep credentials and complete payment data private.

For a question about this UK AML information, contact [email protected]. This policy does not replace the operator’s terms or privacy notice, and it cannot predict the evidence required for a particular member.

For the UK reader, the main account and game choices are available from the Lippy Bingo UK home page.
